My life path has been anything but straightforward. It resembled more the course of labyrinthine detours. I often thought this was a disadvantage, but today I know that these detours were crucial for my development. All the various experiences have helped me gather a rich treasure of knowledge and insight. Along the way, I learned that some things simply take time.
In this “labyrinth”, I studied art, completed training in Shiatsu, dance, theater pedagogy, and trance work, lived abroad and immersed myself in literature about psychology and alternative healing methods.
The common thread of my journey has always been the search for myself: Who am I? I came into the world with a vast toolbox of artistic, communicative, and analytical skills, an insatiable thirst for knowledge…and a lot of insecurities. Yet despite all these tools, I felt that my own “well” had not yet been fully tapped.
Sometimes it feels like you make a wide circle in life, only to find yourself back at a point that has always been right there. As a teenager, I dreamed of becoming a cabaret artist and a detective. In their own way, both of these dreams have come true: I became an artist, particularly in dance and performance, and my detective-like curiosity finds its expression in exploring astrology. My mother, an astrologer and naturopath herself, has always been an endless source of knowledge and inspiration for me – her experiences have shaped my understanding of these fields since my childhood.
It is important to me to always maintain an open attitude and not become dogmatic. The artist destroys their work to let a new one emerge. This is also an important premise for every science and for everything that happens in life.
A person is a complex being, and astrology is a means of approaching this complexity through the facets of planetary forces, both psychologically and spiritually. The planetary positions at birth are like a DNA that cannot lie and an open book whose symbolism we must decipher. This requires a level of knowledge, dedication, work, time, life experience, empathy, and intuition. Therefore, it is always recommended to choose a real astrologer over a short-lived, standardized, possibly AI-generated, and impersonal analysis.
Astrology is one of many sciences and methods that, however, can determine the most important individual facets quite precisely and swiftly, while also involving the greater whole. What the client does with this information is entirely up to them and their willingness to make the transfer into their life. I am always happy to assist in this process. Especially Vedic astrology offers many practical approaches that can specifically strengthen and support individuals.
I owe the most part of my knowledge to the teachings of the astrologer and researcher Ernst Wilhelm, who is today the most significant representative of Tropical Vedic Astrology. He has tirelessly and continuously studied important Indian scriptures, especially Brihat Parashara’s Hora Shastra and the Upadesa Sutras, among others, interpreting and deepening them conscientiously and has developed his own unique approaches. (Feel free to visit his site for further informations: https://www.vedic-astrology.net/)
I am also open to other astrological currents, as long as they prove right and enrich the work with interesting perspectives. Besides Ernst Wilhelm, there are other personalities whose life and work strongly inspire me. To name the most important ones: the renowned psychologist Carl Gustav Jung, Franz Bardon with his work Initiation into Hermetics, Rawn Clark, writer and teacher of western esoteric traditions, the astrologer Liz Greene, the Japanese Butoh dancer and filmmaker Masaki Iwana and Jiddu Krishnamurti for his brilliant mind and his way to always ask questions, to encourage others to find their own answers.
Above all, I started with astrology because I wanted to better read and understand myself and those around me. It addresses topics that concern many people: Why do I always encounter the same people and situations? Why can’t I find the right partner? What is the meaning of my existence? Where are my strengths and weaknesses? How did my childhood influence me? How can I understand the subjective in the context of a larger whole?
It was very important for me to realise that astrology is instrumental in broadening the horizon of our view of ourselves and others in a very compassionate way. You realise why you didn’t have it easy, why your parents didn’t have it easy, and this can be traced back up to several generations. This perspective supports self-empowerment and fosters a sense of acceptance by understanding the bigger picture.
But that’s not all – there’s also a general fascination and wonder in realizing over and over again that this ancient saying of the wise Hermes Trismegistus from ancient Egypt really holds true for me:
“What is above is like what is below, and what is below is like what is above.”
